BSS (Bronze Switchable Shaft) Cylinder Head

This Cylinder head uses a bronze stem, which has excellent sliding and anti-wear properties for rapidly reciprocating air nozzles. Moreover, the stem has a thick 5.41mm diameter to mitigate nozzle wobble.

For this current iteration, we recommend using a POM or Delrin Nozzle. These Cylinder Heads will eventually ship with harder bronze stems, which are more suitable for metal air nozzles.

Suitable for V2/V3 Gearbox.

Retaining Compound (Loctite 638) is still required to keep the stem in place.

Unlike other aluminum cylinder heads, the preinstalled pad is extremely durable. Machining quality on these cylinder heads surpass all other brands tested and the nozzle section is incredibly smooth which reduces nozzle O-ring wear and leads to the nozzle returning to battery very quickly for consistent fps in high rps builds. 

  • 5.41mm ±0.01mm OD stem
    For superior nozzle fitment - Begone wobbly nozzles and air leaks
  • Bronze (Proprietary heat treated alloy) stem
    Offers exceedingly low friction while having significantly more abrasion resistance than aluminum. It will not gall unlike aluminum and steel stems.
  • CNC Delrin main body
    For increased gearbox durability and reduced noise. Design ensures it will not crack under high loads unlike other Polymer Cylinder heads.

  • Integrated NBR pad
    For high abrasion resistance, low compression set and low deadzone. Pad acts as its own O-ring so no poorly fitting O-rings in sight. Very easy to replace in case you shred it as no glue is required for complete retention of the pad.
  • Tapered pad/stem
    Reduces air turbulence for improved pressure consistency and fps


The shaft is switchable with a GBB output valve key and sold separately for different set-up length such as SR25.
