product details

The ASG Infinity Boost series is a new budget-friendly line of motors designed to compete in the same price bracket as China-manufactured motors, but with better performance and quality control. These motors come in two varieties: a 30K (16 TPA) version and 40K (14 TPA) version.

The armature, pinion gear, brushes, brush springs, wiring, and ball bearings are exactly the same as the higher end Infinity series! The different parts would be the Traditional design motor can design, separate metal tower, slightly lower grade Neodymium magnets and Polymer end bell with molded ASG logo.

From internal testing, ASG found these motors to be comparable to the Infinity CNC motors in performance, with slightly more heat generated due to the lower grade magnets.

Overall, these motors are high quality and offer great performance for the price.

This motor is best suited for the following:

Users who want a high rate of fire using standard 18:1 gears (yields ~30rps on 11.1v)
High-ratio DSG builds (20.8 or 20.15 DSG)
Very high Speed SSG builds (13:1, 10.44:1, or 14.09:1 SSG)

I had ordered this motor to build a gearbox to test out some things, and I was fairly impressed. $40 is a great price for this motor. The brushes are still nice and huge, and the motor connectors are very rigid compared to stock/ACM motors. I don't think I'll ever break one honestly. However, I do not recommend using an 11.1v battery with this motor right out the gate. I noticed that arcing was increasing the more I used it, and my brushes were slightly uneven. Making sure they're properly broken in should prevent this from happening and greatly increase the life of the motor! Personally, I think this is the best bang for your buck motor on the market right now, and the only better motor available is AAC.
