product details

The ASG Infinity Boost series is a new budget-friendly line of motors designed to compete in the same price bracket as China-manufactured motors, but with better performance and quality control. These motors come in two varieties: a 30K (16 TPA) version and 40K (14 TPA) version.

The armature, pinion gear, brushes, brush springs, wiring, and ball bearings are exactly the same as the higher end Infinity series! The different parts would be the Traditional design motor can design, separate metal tower, slightly lower grade Neodymium magnets and Polymer end bell with molded ASG logo.

From internal testing, ASG found these motors to be comparable to the Infinity CNC motors in performance, with slightly more heat generated due to the lower grade magnets.

Overall, these motors are high quality and offer great performance for the price.

Note:

These motors have a high top speed and are best paired with standard ratio or high ratio gears. Using a high voltage battery in conjunction with high speed (low torque) gears will yield a very high ROF, and will only get faster with a lower TPA. Proper gearbox timing is of heightened importance when running a faster gearbox.

I am pleasantly surprised by this motor, especially for the price. I got one for my UMP Elite v2 which I recently decided to completely tune up and upgrade. This motor is killer in that gun with it's stock Ares gears and I can only imagine it becoming even more Un-UMP-like with higher speed gear sets. An 11.1 is pretty insane and a 7.4 is just about perfect which is great with the limited space available in the UMP for battery. I have had no issues whatsoever after a few 1000 rounds and the heat is not noticeable so far, but it has been the cold months.

I purchased on of these just recently, and was very impressed. I have used speed motors before, but oftentimes they did not perform as desired; this was the opposite. Installed this in a Tavor with a nearly all stock set up. Yielding around 15 rps on a 7.4v 25c lipo battery. Plan on running it with an 11.1 once I install a stronger main spring. The motor is perfect for use with stock gears, runs at 15 while the torque version runs at 16. However, this one has better response time. I highly recommend ASG motors, they run cool, are affordable, and improve your aeg.
