These springs are designed from the start to deliver the best output while keeping their coil strength, consistency, and quality.
Ultimate Mil-Spec AEG springs are manufactured out of the best steel (SiCr) available for springs, which is the same steel used for real firearm buffer springs. These springs are pre-compressed, which greatly reduces power loss from initial shrinkage. The Mil-Spec springs are also color coded for better identifying them when switching out the spring for different skirmishes. With the closed and ground ends, the spring remains in place during use to prevent a reduction in ROF due to bending.
All of the ASG springs are progressively coiled, which provides a soft start that eases stress on both mechanical and electrical parts. The black zinc plating also provides corrosion resistance without impairing spring performance. ASG's full specification control provides the same specification for every spring produced.
Note: Each strength of spring will have a different length and the coil spacing will differ as well. This is completely intentional, and this design is what allows the springs to be as consistent as they are. For example: the M125 spring is actually the shortest of the 5 springs with the tightest spacing, while the M115 is the longest with the loosest spacing.
