Your air nozzle may not be fully compatible with this Cylinder Head. We've found that it pairs best with most POM nozzles, though some metal nozzles can also work depending on their tolerances.

We also recommend FPS Piston Heads for use with this Cylinder Head, as the reinforced edge is better suited for the padding.

This is an excellent cylinder head. It's beautifully made and seals perfectly in every cylinder I've tried. The pad in on the backside is nicer than the typical fare found on most cylinder heads.

This seems to work best with poly nozzles, and if I had to ding for half a star, it'd be for nozzle compatibility. I tried some MAXX and Retro Arms nozzles and it would not allow those to fit unless I swapped for some slightly smaller O-rings. Of more prominent note: it shrieks pretty loudly with either of these metal nozzles too. You'd think you were experiencing a bushing spinning the shell, but once I started chasing down the issue, it was from using a metal nozzle with this cylinder head. I think it's probably due to not having a tapered tip like some nozzle shafts do (e.g. Lonex), so even the very minimal wobble experienced is resulting in the tip of the shaft raking against the interior of the nozzle. After making some adjustments on the chamber side, I was able to press a VFC nozzle into service in this application. It runs smooth and quiet with that and has perfect compression.

A specialized part with a 'specialized part price'

The price makes this definitely not something I would get for every gun, but it makes some adjustments vs normal cylinder heads that really help when dealing with problematic guns or midcap syndrome.

Seals *incredibly* well in any cylinder I tested it with, and the nozzles I've put on it have less movement than on other cylinder heads. I would like to see a longer stem version that helps mitigate nozzle wobble even more, but this is definitely a step up over standard cylinder heads.

Fantastic CH. Best on the market.

This CH resolves all of the issues from the FPS ones. It increases the diameter of the steam and removes the front padding. It fits Retro shells well and VFC nozzles even better. You don't need to worry about the finish of the stem wearing off on these as well. Fantastic product, especially for the price.
