Although lightweight piston assemblies are often favored in high-speed setups, heavier pistons can enhance power output and improve consistency. In DMR or semi-auto configurations, a heavier piston is preferable for better performance with heavier BBs. In full-auto setups, a heavier piston can also be beneficial, provided that pre-engagement is avoided.

Suitable for DMR and similar builds where higher power (2J+) and heavier ammunition (0.36g BB+) is expected. It is also a prerequisite to have enough air in the cylinder in proportion to the barrel length.

Manufacturers notes:

The kit contains a piston head insert and 3 weights that replace the bearing and bearing flange in the piston. Only certain elements of the set can be used to optimize the weight of the piston as required.

  • Weight of the whole set is 14.4 g
    • PH insert 2.7 g
    • bearing replacement 7.0 g
    • small ring behind the bearing 2.35 g (2 pcs)

  • Made from brass
  • Made in the Czech Republic
  • Package contains 4 weights and 2 extended piston head screws (M3x16 and M3x20 with Allen lens head)
