product details

Reinforced technopolymer piston head designed for high rof and to increase the silence of the replica thanks to the very small knocking surface (TPAVP).

It is the lightest among those produced by FPS for rifles over 30 BBs / second.

Its adoption lightens the weight of the piston and piston head with a significant reduction in mechanical stress and noise.

The particular conformation of the striking part (conical degrading towards the center) ensures that the ventilation holes are never closed by the rubber of the cylinder head, without however leaving too much air between the cylinder head and piston head. All this ensures a perfect anti-vacuum system without ever producing power losses.

For preparations of replicas with extreme rates our technical team recommends the use of the washer to lighten the beating mass.

Technical specifications:

Weight: 5.93 grams (with technopolymer washer)

100% COMPATIBLE MARUI
100% MADE IN ITALY

Great, inexpensive, with a caveat for casual/less experienced builders that's easy to work with

These little piston heads are inexpensive but by no means *cheap*. They are very strong; their o-ring seals the best I've experienced so far. Their diameter is a bit wider than a lot of piston heads so check fit in your cylinder as cylinder diameter does vary slightly from make to make. The one caveat is that it is *very* light. That's the whole point of this piston head. If you want to use it in a regular every day build, it is so light your piston will not be heavy enough to use anything beyond .28s or so in my testing, your build will of course vary. I was able to use .32s in my builds by not using the polymer spacer that comes with it but adding a standard spring bearing set you'd install with any other piston, but .32s only gained a small amount of energy with that.

I'm honestly struggling to say anything more, and that's a good thing. It's a solid, inexpensive cylinder head that you can make work if you want an inexpensive cylinder head for a build. I'd personally recommend it for lighter weight ammo builds.

Light but not quiet

Its definitely not quieter than other regular heads, I would know since I even tried to make a cylinder head pad match the shape of this one. However it did solve my pme issue so its definitely light enough, even tho I didnt use the plastic washer and I put regular bearings. -1 star for advertising the nonexistent noise reduction. Also I did have to replace the o-ring with a new one since it was smaller diameter and wouldn't seal my cylinder.

Strong and Durable with a Good Design

Although it is on the pricier side of piston heads this one is a performer. Very light and durable as I currently have it in an SP160 DSG with no issues. The ports actually open up and are rectangular on the inside of the piston head and point towards the O Ring. The only downside to this is the o-ring it comes with is very stiff. I swapped it out for a soft viton o-ring.
