FPS Airsoft AEG Gear Box / Mech Box Cylinder Head version 2 made of ERGAL (TC02C).

Great Upgrade for any gear box.

Each FPS Cylinder head is made of ERGAL and it is also anodized for smooth surface finish.

The Cylinder heads are CNC manufactured to ensure a product with maximum durability and precision.

The large sizes of the two o-rings ensure a perfect seal on all cylinders on the market.

Powerful built in UREPAN bumper that absorbs the shock from the piston head.

Among the excellent characteristics of UREPAN are:

- high dynamic load capacity
- high abrasion and tear propagation resistance
- highest modulus of elasticity of all elastomers
- excellent mechanical wear resistance
- high impact resilience
- low compression set
- non-marking floor protection
- non-staining wheel tread material

Hardness of the yellow rubber = 60 degrees shore which makes it suitable for use on custom DMR, to protect notoriously fragile gerboxes and reduce the noise of the replica.

Furthermore, UREPAN offers good chemical resistance to mineral oils and greases as well as various solvents.

UREPAN is recommended for all applications with high demands regarding load capacity, rebound resilience, speed and durability.

Interesting Design, Works Well

First to note, this pad is not sorbothane. This pad is polyurethane which is much stiffer. With that being said I don't see much reason to go to the stiffer FPS cylinder heads. Also to note the pad is sloped towards the nozzle which could help with air flow. I am currently running this in an SP160 DSG with no issues. Seems to be keeping the CYMA Plat gearbox alive.

Good air seal, no feeding issues. Sorbo is is harder than 60 though prob closer to 80. Would buy again though

Thanks for your review. The impact pad is made of 'UREPAN' which is polyurethane rubber. It has a harder material composition than sorbothane, so 60 shore polyurethane is much harder and tougher than 60 shore sorbothane.

Fits good in KWA 2.3/3.0+ gearbox, which are picky with cylinder heads. Stock nozzle also fits great with minimal slop and friction. Shock pad feels harder than 60, feels harder than 70 sorbo
