Guarder springs are made of Oil Quenched/Tempered Si-Cr Alloy Steel Wire and are generally considered to be some of the most consistent springs on the market.

Please note that the final AEG power output is dependent on a ton of factors, and as such Brill Armory cannot guarantee a certain FPS. Some factors include compression, inner barrel length, cylinder type, inner barrel diameter, BB's used, bucking/hop-up parts used, and tappet timing.

The best springs you can get

Depending on your barrel length, short stroke three or four teeth and marry it up with the right cylinder and it'll drop you right at ~390fps/1.4j almost every time. Lower power loss from break-in and lower amp draw from the battery vs SHS and other chinese brands makes these a no-brainer for the cost.

It's honestly not surprising that Brill stopped carrying SHS or other cheaper chinese springs in place of these. For a few dollars more you get better power efficiency, better consistency, and less power loss from break-in. I've been phasing out my older springs for Guarders as I go for the last year or so and have no intentions to go back to SHS, Super Shooter, or any other chinese knock-off brand. There's no point when springs this good exist.

Great Springs for only a few dollars more

The SP120 and SP130 have become my go-to springs for any short stoke setups, knocking 2-3 teeth off the Sector gear + SP120/130 nearly always lands me right in the ballpark of 390 fps outside of a few edge case builds.

Guarder springs are basically the only springs I use now. For not a lot more money, the springs are just better and more consistent than springs from other brands, and I've been able to see a notable drop in amp draw switching to these springs from other brands.

I use Guarder Springs in all of my guns. With an almost perfect airseal and a 509mm 6.02 barrel, I'm shooting around 2.23 joules with .32s.
