These JVAN gears come short-stroked from the factory and are built from high-strength materials for superior durability.

With this gear set, you no longer have to manually grind teeth off for most high-speed builds. This greatly simplifies installation at no additional cost.

The Sector Gear and Step Gear are fully CNC-machined from SCM440 steel, with the exception of the sector tappet cam, which is made from 420F stainless steel.

The Bevel Gear features a CNC-machined SCM440 center shaft, while the outer teeth section is MIM-produced.

From the factory, the Sector Gear uses a 13-tooth short-stroke configuration, effectively reducing the piston travel. While this setup decreases muzzle energy, it improves trigger response and helps prevent pre-engagement in high-speed builds. To compensate for the reduced power, we recommend using a stronger spring or spring guide spacers.

Additionally, because the removed teeth are on the pickup side, the tappet is engaged earlier, resulting in longer air-nozzle dwell time.
