product details

This is a Lonex AoE correcting Aluminum Piston Head. It features a thick 4.45mm integrated spacer, which is nearly the same thickness as a 3/16" Pad (~0.3mm difference). These Piston Heads come standard with all Lonex Completed upgrade Gearboxes.

This Piston Head is a fully CNC machined part that forms a single piece, which alleviates concerns about durability and is perfectly sized to secure the front of the piston rack.

Be mindful when using this Piston Head. Because the AoE is fully corrected on the Piston Head (or mostly corrected, depending on your gearbox), there will be far less shock dampening material on the Cylinder Head. It's up to the user to weigh the pros and cons of using an AoE corrected Piston Head and choose the ideal Piston Head for their build.

Also, the screw that comes with this Piston Head has a hexagonal head. The user will have to use a 5/64" Allen (hex) key to install this Piston Head onto the Piston. The Allen key needs to be at least 3" long to go down the entire length of the Piston.

It's strongly recommended to use medium strength threadlocker and wait for the threadlocker to cure before use. Do not over tighten the threads, as this may damage the Piston Head.

Stats:

Material: Aluminum
Weight: 10.33 grams without bearings, 15.05 grams with bearings
Spacer length: 4.45mm
Ports: 6 ports.

On some setups, I found that these are perfect for correcting the AOE that's significantly off. After using one of these in those situations, you only need a small amount of material for the cylinder head to perfect the AOE.
