The Mancraft CNC Gearbox V2.5 (V2 Long) – 8mm QSC is a reinforced shell for SR25 replicas and other V2 Long platforms, made entirely from 7075 T6 aluminium on CNC machines. The quick spring change system, 8 mm bearing seats and reinforced front make it an ideal base for demanding AEG and HPA configurations.

Compatibility and notes
- Platform: most AEG replicas equipped with a V2 Long / V2.5 gearbox, in particular SR25 and related DMR platforms.
- Use: heavily tuned AEG replicas and HPA conversions using a V2 Long shell as a base (compatibility of motor, HPA engine and electronics should be verified individually).
- Not intended for: standard V2 gearboxes (classic-length M4/M16), nor for GBBR platforms.
- Requires advanced installation: recommended assembly by an experienced AEG/HPA technician, especially with non-standard receivers and extreme tuning.
- Important Note - This product is NOT compatible with CM 098 and other SR25 from CYMA

Installation (general / simplified instructions – professional service recommended)
- Make sure the replica is unloaded and disconnected from any power source (battery / HPA air supply).
- Disassemble the replica, remove the complete old V2 Long gearbox from the receiver and take out all internal components (gears, cylinder, piston, trigger, wiring / controller).
- Transfer all internal parts into the Mancraft CNC V2.5 (V2 Long) shell, choosing appropriate 8 mm bearings/bushings and correctly shimming the gears.
- Install the QSC spring guide and the remaining components, then check the mechanism “dry” (without the main spring), using the inspection ports and the AoE correction cut-out.
- Fit the gearbox into the receiver and adjust its position with the front alignment screws and grip shims so that the motor runs quietly, without excessive resistance or rubbing against the body.
- After fully reassembling the replica, perform a series of tests in a safe area, checking sound, BB feeding and FPS stability – this is especially important in long-barrel SR25/DMR builds.
- Tip: if the sound is unnaturally sharp or “rough”, go back to gear shimming and motor height – the precise, perfectly straight CNC shell clearly “shows” any assembly errors and imperfections in cheaper Zn/Al cast receivers.

FAQ
Will this gearbox fit my SR25 replica?
The shell is designed for AEG replicas with a V2 Long / V2.5 gearbox, including most SR25 and related models. Due to differences between manufacturers (non-standard receivers, different pin sizes), it’s always worth checking your replica’s specifications or consulting installation with a service tech.
Can I use 8 mm bearings and bushings from any brand?
Yes, the shell has 8 mm seats – you can use both bearings and bushings from reputable brands, provided they are installed correctly and the gears are properly shimmed.
How strong a spring can I use?
The 7075 T6 aluminium shell is designed for very powerful DMR configurations. The real limit, however, depends on build quality, parts selection and correct AoE setup – for extreme tuning we recommend consulting an experienced technician.
Is this gearbox suitable for HPA?
Yes, it is an excellent base for HPA conversions, as long as the chosen HPA engine is compatible with a V2 Long / V2.5 gearbox. Installation requires experience and often some minor fitting – especially in non-standard replicas.
Is this a firearm part?
No. This is a component intended exclusively for Airsoft AEG/HPA replicas – it is not compatible with any real firearm or GBBR system.
