Installation (2–4 minutes)
- Ensure the replica is safe and unloaded.
- Depress the magazine catch from the left side and unscrew/remove the old button from the shaft (on some models like KRYTAC the button is secured by a Philips screw ).
- Thread or secure the Mancraft CNC button onto the existing shaft; confirm smooth travel.
- Function-check for positive engagement and release.
- Tip: If travel feels stiff or loose, inspect the spring/contact surfaces; a micro-drop of PTFE oil can help.

Yes, the magazine release will fit most replicas in the M4 AR15 M16 SR-25 standard, however, due to the lack of dimensional standards in receivers from different manufacturers, in some it may fit perfectly, in others very tightly, and in others it may be loose.
