Perun for Arcturus V2 is a dedicated electronic trigger unit for selected Arcturus Version 2 gearbox variants. It replaces wear-prone electrical contacts with optical sector-gear and selector-position sensing together with magnetic trigger sensing, providing reliable cycle, selector, and trigger detection.

The unit includes an integrated Clicker that adds a tactile trigger wall and break without requiring a separate accessory. Selector calibration compensates for small differences in selector-system geometry and reflectivity, while the full feature set familiar from Perun’s latest electronic trigger units provides extensive control over firing behavior.

Integrated Clicker

The integrated Clicker gives the trigger a defined, tactile break. Two supplied trigger levers provide a lighter or stronger break, and the break can also be removed completely. Pretravel and overtravel are adjustable, allowing the trigger feel to be configured for either rapid CQB use or a more deliberate, realistic pull.

The system is integrated into the unit, so no separate trigger accessory is required. The original trigger spring may be retained or removed depending on the preferred setup, provided the trigger is adjusted to return reliably.


Programming

All settings are configured using quick, easy-to-remember sequences of selector movements and trigger pulls, guided by sound signals and a multicolor LED. No tools or apps are required. Settings for SEMI and AUTO are independent and can be changed in seconds, even in the field.


Compatible with both traditional brushed and brushless (BLDC) motors. When using a brushless motor, follow the motor manufacturer’s recommendations concerning active brake and PWM-based rate-of-fire reduction.

Features

Adjustable trigger sensitivity

Trigger sensitivity can be adjusted electronically at any time, including in the field, to suit the user’s preferences and playing style. No permanent trigger modification is required.

Independently programmable firing modes

Program each selector position (SEMI and AUTO) independently as SAFE, semi-automatic, burst, automatic, or binary. For example, SEMI can remain semi-automatic while AUTO is configured as binary.

Active brake

Active brake stops the motor after each shot, prevents the spring from remaining compressed, and eliminates overspin—the double-shot problem found in some high-ROF replicas. Braking strength is adjustable, and active brake can also be disabled completely. Active brake and pre-cocking settings are independent.

Pre-cocking

With pre-cocking enabled, the piston remains in the rear position after each shot with the spring already compressed, so the next shot is fired as soon as the trigger is pulled. Pre-cocking strength is adjustable and automatically adapts to battery voltage. To release the spring safely, select SEMI, fire one shot, and keep the trigger held; after 3 seconds, a second shot is fired with maximum active brake, leaving the spring uncompressed.

2-stage trigger

A light trigger pull fires in one mode, while a deeper pull activates another. Available combinations are semi-automatic–burst, semi-automatic–automatic, and burst–automatic.

Safety

Low battery voltage alarm

Repeated sound signals warn when battery voltage falls to a level at which the battery should no longer be used. The unit automatically detects the number of cells and sets the threshold accordingly. The function can be disabled for batteries other than Li-Po or Li-Ion.

Diagnostic system

Continuously monitors the replica and the unit itself. If a problem occurs—such as a gearbox jam, overheating, short circuit, or sensor fault—the LED identifies the specific issue, making troubleshooting fast and straightforward.

Electronic resettable fuse

Automatically cuts power in the event of a short circuit or gearbox jam, protecting both the replica and the battery. It resets after the battery is reconnected and the fault is removed, so no fuse element needs to be replaced.

Compatibility and installation

Designed for selected Arcturus Version 2 gearbox variants, including the older proprietary microswitch gearbox and later versions with compatible selector geometry. Before installation, compare the selector mechanism with the two supported layouts in the manual. A gearbox family name alone is not enough to confirm compatibility.

Use the Arcturus microswitch-type trigger supplied with the product or a compatible stock Arcturus trigger already installed in the replica. Standard Tokyo Marui Version 2 and other aftermarket triggers are not officially supported. Microswitch gearboxes made by other manufacturers, including ZCL, Shooter, and Specna Arms, are not compatible.

G95/G95K split-gearbox variants are not drop-in compatible. An experienced technician can adapt them, but custom reshaping and material removal may be required. Selected Nuprol Delta replicas that use an Arcturus gearbox may be compatible after the selector layout is verified.

Compatible with brushed and brushless motors, all common gearsets—including DSG, TSG, short-stroked, helical, and non-helical sets—and power sources from 7 V to 17 V.
