RA Full Gearbox GREEN EDITION

Retro Arms has released their complete gearbox, which features high-quality parts manufactured and assembled in Europe. This gearbox is less expensive than buying the parts individually, and comes with complete installation and proper fitting of the internal parts.

This upgraded gearbox is built for strength and durability, utilizing robust CNC aluminum material. It features the latest Retro Arms 2024 shell, which has several enhancements and improved compatibility. An ongoing problem with upgrading regular cast gearbox shells is the increased stress and massive force cracking the front of the gearbox over time. This is not a concern with this shell, due to the strong material and radius design.

This gearbox is equipped with an adjusted speed trigger, ensuring crisp and responsive shooting with the JeffTron Leviathan ETU.

Features a quick-change spring guide for modularity and easy servicing.

The Leviathan ETU fully protects the gearbox from the high power of 11.1v batteries and features Bluetooth functionality, allowing you to program the gearbox to your exact preferences.

Professional installation is still required because the gearbox needs to be fitted to the motor and receiver. This model is rear-wired. Not suitable for a front-wired configuration.

Gearbox is built for 350 fps/1.2j (real-world results may vary depending on parts used in conjunction with the gearbox)

My first review that I wrote was mid November 2024
After some time with this engine throughout the month of December. I have really stressed and push out limits within the gearbox. As my previous statement that the spring is a bit weak I found the issue of the spring wasn’t sitting right in the gear box. After carefully adjusting it does seem to have potential! When playing indoors and outdoors. I will continue to use and abuse the gear box until gears break eventually inserting a 16.1 ratio.
If Brillarmory can kindly remove my previous review I’d appreciate it.

*Gear box has a easy quick change I would recommend
*To install stock the thread of the gearbox is m3 screw 0.5x40mm.
*Its Green Duh
*Jefftron app is very simple and easy to use
(please BEAWARE) to set a password onto your trigger board by default anyone can login into your gun without a password.

Seems okay

I recently purchased this gearbox, I was in a need for an ssg for m4 Bodys. It’s a very simple install and the parts list seemed decent. I did play outside with it at my local field
I will admit that the velocity of the spring is very slow and not listed in the description but listed in the comments sections BEWARE!! took a long time for my bb to travel. Consider in upgrading at some point

Sorry for the inconveninece. The power output shouldn't be too low. The gears in this gearbox are short stroked by 4 teeth, so there may be undervoluming when using replicas with longer barrels. Also, be sure that the Air Nozzle is sealing properly with the Hop-Up chamber. Please email us with the power output you're getting and the barrel length. We'll figure it out!
