product details

This is a precision CNC machined Retro ARMS O-Ring Air Nozzle.

This nozzle pairs well with Retro ARMS Cylinder Heads. This Air Nozzle has no thick "collar" which can interfere with some Hop-Up units, and the diameter is 7mm. This Nozzle is made of durable and lightweight 7075 CNC machined Aluminum. The tip end is chamfered for improved sealing.

Brill Armory now sells these Air Nozzles in .05 increments to provide ideal Air sealing and feeding for your specific gearbox.

Ideally, an Air Nozzle should make a good seal with the bucking when the tappet plate at its most forward position. The Air nozzle should not go too far into the bucking or crush it. If the Air nozzle is going too far into the bucking, a shorter Air nozzle should be used instead. Additionally, the Air Nozzle should not obstruct BB's going into the Hop-Up chamber when the Air Nozzle is fully retracted (its most rear position.)

Having a good air seal in your AEG can also increase accuracy and consistency since the FPS variation between shots is minimized.

Silicone oil or grease is preferred for lubricating the O-ring. Do not use lubricants which may degrade rubber seals.
