This upgraded motor from Rocket Airsoft has material and design differences which make it stand out from their ordinary line of brushed motors.

The most notable of these changes are the ventilation holes and the fan on the motor armature. The fan rotates with the armature, forcing heat to be expelled through the ventilation holes.

The endbell is made of CNC-machined aluminum, making it less prone to deformation and damage.

The magnets are strong and are placed very close to the armature. The armature itself is shimmed tightly with minimal axial play. Because the shaft is D-type, the pinion slipping downward is not a concern with these motors.
