product details

This Gear Set has a true ratio of 13.65:1 and a nominal (advertised) ratio of 13:1. This is a high-speed Gearset that will grant great trigger response and speed. Paired with the right parts, this Gearset will give you a fearsome rate of fire.

SHS has made some very significant revisions to their previous Gear designs. These new Gears are more reliable and much better machined than the previous generation.

Firstly, the Sector and Step gears are now fully CNC machined. CNC tooling marks make this very apparent. In addition to this, all of the Gears are thoroughly steam treated with black oxide. This gives all of the gears improved wear and corrosion resistance.

All of the shafts on these new gears are totally filled and reinforced. This strengthens the Gears and reduces the chance of the gears separating.

The Bevel Gear is still MIM machined, but it is still enhanced due to the black oxide coating and filled shaft. Also, SHS has reformed their previous bevel design due to the change in Anti-Reversal latch catches.

Also, SHS uses standard 10-tooth bevel gears. This means that replacements are easy to find and any random 10-tooth bevel gear should be compatible with this Gear Set.

Oh, man these gears are literally the definition of "all you need" (apart from the bevel lol) Let me just say, any reviews before the date this one is made from me (the tappet plate and bushings) IGNORE THEM!!!! I was stupid and was new to teching anyway. These gears are truly amazing for how much you pay for them and the durability and performance they give you. -They survived my disastrous adventure of learning to tech (aka in an extremely tightly shimmed gun that I actually fielded twice until the cutoff lever gave out) - Had no damage to them whatsoever when I opened it up after the stuff above (about 4.5k+ rounds were used.) -When put into my actual build, running an 11.1, 22tpa zci, and actually shimmed these guys go absolutely crazy (They survived me accidentally putting too much grease around the cut-off lever resulting in full auto on semi for a little bit, And even DESTROYED my old METAL RACK piston! (Swapped to SHS piston and all good (Yes the AOE was good)) -They also survived my piston head screw nut bouncing around my gearbox (Yes, the gears literally forced it to cycle despite it being a bit jammed, Yes there was no damage to them STILL, and yes I didn't put enough loctite) -Work great with lonex cut off lever All in all -These gears when shimmed correctly, paired with my 22 tpa motor and zci 9t bevel, give an extremely nice and snappy trigger response, showed immense strength, (siegtek who???(dont take that seriously)) and most importantly didn't leave me to buy milk throughout my horrendous journey to learning to tech on my gun Note: -The bevel, survived my old tight build, though some people said it was pretty bad, so I replaced it with a zci 9 tooth and worked just fine, no increases in noise, meshed well, though it did bring the ratio up by a little, but the trigger response is still great. If you want a 13:1 22/28 tpa trigger response build GET THESE!!!!! (and uh i guess the zci 9tooth bevel since reddit said to) YEAHHHH!!!!!!

Been using these guys for a long time, and let me tell you, if you're at least a decent tech, you'll love how cheap and durable these are. Swap the bevel gear out with a 9-tooth ZCI one, trust me the one it comes with sucks and is the most prone to break. Quality Control slips up every once in a while (out of 15 gearsets, I've gotten one blemish). Keep in mind once you go lower ratio, PME becomes a possibility. Short-Stroke and drop in a ZCI High Torque, you'll get 30ms response times!

These gears are basically the go to gears for any default build. They're strong enough and if shimmed well won't fail you.

These gears will not line up correctly for my v2 gearbox, I cant get them to seat correctly

Beautiful gears with equivalent performance. They are easy to shim and hold up to a lot of abuse.

Solid set of gears! Running this on a Guarder SP140 with no problems. The Spur and Sector gears are beats, the Bevel gear however is lacking in terms of strength, as long as you properly shim using the Bevel-Pinion method you'll be fine. Otherwise you might end up stripping the bevel gear. Overall solid gears for a high-speed setup.
