Shimming can make or break an AEG. Proper shimming increases reliability, efficiency, and even ROF in some cases. Motors can draw less power and run cooler on properly shimmed gearsets as well. Brill Armory recommends the pinion-to-bevel shimming method and checking for proper motor alignment & height prior to shimming the gears.

Please note: Shims may come in different colors and shapes depending on the batch produced. The amount of shims in the pack may vary slightly (about 27 to 33 shims).

All silver-colored shim pack contains ~10x 0.1mm, 0.2mm, and 0.3mm shims.
Mixed-color pack contains ~10x 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2mm shims.

No problem when using them since they have perfect symmetry

Great shims, only 1 small issue I have with them is that they don't have really thick shims- still works great!

These shims are pretty much what you pay for. I got a bag with all the different shims mixed together, but they were different shapes and colors so its easy to tell them apart. My bag did come with 0.1, 0.15, and 0.2mm shims though, not the 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3mm it says in the product description.

These are the only shims I use in both mine or my friends/customer guns. Im glad Bill armory carries them because evike doesn't. They are easy to tell apart and have a +/-0.02mm tolerence. Never had problems with them, so very likely to purchase again for an upcoming build.

good shims, there are enough in one pack to shim two other three gearboxes. the different shapes and colors make it very easy to identify the different thicknesses.

good shims. Do note that when using digital calipers the shims measured at .18 for the silver round ones and 2.2mm for the copper colored ones. Octagon shims were in fact about .1mm
