This Gear Set can yield a ridiculously high rate of fire. It is also exceptionally hard and well-designed.

Installing a DSG Gearset requires technical expertise and fine tuning of the Gearbox. Research and read voraciously to unlock the full potential of these gears. The official DSG instruction manual is a good start: http://www.siegetek.com/instructions/cyclone.pdf

As mentioned in the installation notes, trimming the tappet plate to at least 11mm, and installing a spring guide spacer OR using a strong spring is necessary for installation.

Note: product photo may vary from actual product as these gears are updated with improvements between batches.

We recommend the Siegetek G4 pinion gear or ASG O-type pinion gear for optimal concentricity and meshing.

I recently purchased and installed this DSG set, and would like to share my experience to aid whoever I can to make installation as painless as possible. For my build, the entire system worked and fed, flawlessly only after 3 hours of installation. I strongly recommend buying everything siegetek pinion up. And then use Lonex for the rest. I find that the meshing of everything eased the installation, took out the second guessing, as well as prolonged the lifetime of the overall system. Since its assembly it has ran 3000rds without issue or failure (lucky so far XD). A few things to note, the bevel gear has the new design of the AR latches and the horizontal gear blended together, as shown in the picture. A stock AR latch may seem to work by hand testing, but it will not work when the system begins to actually cycle. To get the ARL to engage correctly. Replace it with a steel lonex one, and grind off about .5mm of material off the tip of the latch, the latch will be less pointy and engage correctly. When installing the lonex red piston, I swisscheesed the entire assembly down to 17.4 grams with the head. Paired with a guarder sp150, the system cycles fine with no PME. If you plan to use a stronger spring I'm assuming your piston assembly can be left heavier. Overall, I recommend buying all lonex and siegetek parts right here from Brill Armory, it saved me a lot of time, second guessing, and money in the long run.
