These Solink gears feature a  helical bevel gear design, helping reduce noise at the bevel-to-pinion interface—the gear mesh that produces the most drivetrain noise. The step and sector gears are the standard straight-cut design.

Included is a D-type helical pinion gear, grub screw, and allen key for easier installation.

Note: the bevel gear can increase axial load on bearings, as opposed to common straight-cut gears which primarily generate radial load. Although high-quality Airsoft bearings can tolerate some axial load and may work just fine, they aren't specifically made for handling significant axial loads.

Depending on the configuration, it may be advisable to change to solid bushings on some or all of the gear axles when using these gears.

Use of a high-quality adhesive like Loctite 638 or JB Weld is recommended for installing the pinion gear.
