product details

The brushless motor is well-suited for balanced applications when a moderate RPM is preferable. This motor can still yield a very high ROF depending on the gears and battery used.

Manufacturers notes: Why use a Brushless motor in your AEG?

-Higher torque to weight ratio
-Increased torque per watt of power input (increased efficiency)
-Increased reliability and lower maintenance requirements -Reduced operational and mechanical noise
-Longer lifespan (no brush and commutator erosion)
-Elimination of ionizing sparks from the commutator (ESD)
-Near-elimination of electromagnetic interference (EMI)

Specs:

Motor pinion gear: D-type

At no load:

Input voltage: 11.1v
Speed: 28000 RPM
Current: 1.5 AMP

At maximum efficiency:

Input voltage: 11.1v
Efficiency: 86%
Output: 210W
Current: 19A
Load speed: 24050RPM

Warning! This brushless motor is best to use our brand T238 ETU/MOSFET, not compatible with other brands of ETU/MOSFET, if the use of other brands of ETU/MOSFET causes motor failure, no warranty. Do not use a battery exceeding 12.6v

HIGHLY EFFICIENT. DURABLE AND RELIABLE.

✔Motor body material: CNC Aluminum precision machining
✔Motor gear: D type
✔Brushless, low heat at high output
✔Long service life, battery temperature
✔Emergency stop after power failure, no buffer, stable output
✔Overheat protection, low voltage protection, locked rotor protection

An amazing entry level brushless motor

Bought one of these for the efficiency and it absolutely delivered. On my completely bone-stock UTR45, this is registering an incredible 9.8 amp draw in semi-auto on a 3s lipo. For context, the lowest semi-auto draw I've gotten on a conventional brushed motor was upwards of 15-20 amps.

At $80 a motor, I don't see any reason to use a brushed motor over this, even more so when these inevitably get cheaper. These are going to make brushed motors obsolete over the next 5-10 years. I can only compare the performance difference of these over brushed motors to when we discovered using LiPo's over NiMh. There is simply no contest in performance.
