This is the ZCI 9-tooth Bevel Gear. It's like a standard ACM 10T Bevel, except with thicker and more durable teeth. The teeth are 1.2mm thick, or 20% thicker than a recent generation 10T bevel.

This Bevel is a great replacement for stripped or worn 10T Bevels. Keep in mind that using a 9T Bevel will change your gear ratio and make it roughly 15% slower.

I put one of these in a vfc scar h after a bad shim job caused the factory bevel and pinion to wear enough to cause a screechy fire. Along with a zci cnc o type pinion, it meshes ok but not perfect, as pinion teeth would need to be a bit taller so it fills up the gaps in the bevel. Those non cnc zci pinions or even shs would mesh better. Anyways, I also put this to slightly decrease the rof since the element motor I had was a little fast for my taste. Because of the 1 less tooth, this also changes the angle of teeth engagement between the bevel and spur. So after 10 shots the vfc spur broke a tooth. I replaced it with a spare jg one and it works fine. Sounds alot better in the end.

Replaced my stripped shs bevel, made my 12:1 ratio go to 14:1 but It is still incredibly fast, extremely strong and no signs of wear after already 2k rounds.

Excellent bevel gear. By design, these are much stronger than a regular bevel gear. Also great for building high-durability budget gearsets, if you cand afford Siegetek for every build. Paired with 12:1 sector and spur, it brings the ratio to 14:1. With 13:1 sector and spur, the ratio will become 15:1. 18:1 will become 20:1 with this bevel. Ect ect. I found this bevel to be great for high stress DSG and DMR builds. No more failing bevels!
