product details

This is a Balanced 16TPA Long Type Neodymium Motor by ZCI. As the name implies, it's designed to give a balanced output of torque and speed.

This motor should perform similarly to the SHS High Torque motors. The shaft is outfitted with a D-type pinion gear.

The magnets are just as strong as the SHS ones and wrap nicely around the armature. The armatures are well shimmed on all of the ZCI motors that I've handled.

Overall you can't go wrong with this motor. With this kind of price and performance, there is no reason to keep a stock ferrous motor!

Absolute beast of a motor. Its very powerful. I would only recommend this motor to seasoned installers and the use high quality parts, cause this thing can go!

I rate this product a 3 star only because with this motor I keep destroying pistons because it spins so fast. I keep short stroking pistons. BUT I'm also running a battery with a dumb high discharge rate. In a high speed build this would be a great motor. (I had it pushing 45 rps at about 460fps with this motor and 12:1 gears)

Amazing motor! Especially for the price! Proved to be only 1 RPS slower than my Lonex A1 (both measured in the same gun with an XcorTech chrono) and with the same amount of torque, and costs ~20 dollars less too. Also the armature was well shimmed and the motor can has super strong Neodymium magnets. Doesn't heat up either. Overall great motor.
