This is a complete 8mm Quick spring change Gearbox for M4's. It comes with a front wired harness designed for replicas that are wired to the handguard or PEQ box. These Gearboxes are zinc cast like most other Gearboxes but are made to a higher quality standard. These Gearboxes feature a Quick-disconnect spring guide which allows the user to change springs in seconds and allows for much easier maintenance.

I got one of these because Brill was out of rear wired boxes. I have been using this for a while in a backup build and found myself modifying it a lot. I successfully modified this gearbox to accept a Gate TITAN. This gearbox comes with a microswitch trigger, so non standard screw holes and trigger are installed as well as the absense of a selector window. After heavy dremeling, and epoxying the TITAN to the gearbox wall, I got it to work...lol In addition to those modifications, radiusing and AOE correction were needed. I also found that SHS pinions mesh very well with the bevel gear, as opposed to a ZCI one which made a bit of noise. Stock shimming is done very well. In a 363mm 6.01TBB setup, I was getting about 420fps with the stock spring. Other notes: if you decide to keep the microswitch trigger and wish to install a MOSFET, make sure it supports debouncing.

Fantastically put together, and I LOVE the ability to change the spring and guide quickly without taking the whole thing apart. Bear in mind, however, that the port in the back for the spring guide extends about a half-inch behind where a normal V2 gearbox would end - you may have to modify your receiver to fit this gearbox in.
